Powering Growth with Business Transformation

Business transformation stands as the backbone for businesses to thrive in today’s fast-paced, digital-first economy. It is a multifaceted process encompassing the adoption of novel technologies, reengineering of business processes, and strategic deployment of innovative strategies. The overarching goal is clear: to enhance business operations, improve CX, and carve out a sustainable competitive advantage. Successful transformation includes cutting-edge technologies like AI, cloud computing, and data analytics, each playing a pivotal role in reshaping the business.

In this context, the “Exclusive CXO Forum” took place in Pune with the collaborative effort of NTT DATA, AWS & Alden Global. The forum, themed “Powering Growth with Business Transformation”, brought together a distinguished gathering of CXOs, CFOs and tech leaders of Pune. The insightful discussions revolved around enhancing future growth and gaining competitive advantage in the ever-evolving landscape of business & technology.

The context built by Sachin Ranjane, Director Solution Architecture and Sathish Anthur, Sr. Director Presales, from NTT DATA, reinforced the idea that leveraging technology is crucial for gaining real-time insights, enhancing customer experiences, and ultimately boosting profitability. In his introductory speech, Satish Anthur, remarked, “In the age of technology, global expansion & digitalization drive business acceleration.” He further outlined that building an intelligent enterprise can accelerate scalability & profitability.

Throughout the discussions, industry leaders emphasized the significance of a data-driven strategy for digitalization. Kaustav Sil, CFO and Director of Sandvik India, aptly articulated, “Digitalization requires data-driven decision-making and scalable agility.” It underlines the importance of leadership commitment in navigating the digital landscape successfully.

Real-time data analytics emerged as a recurring topic of discussion during the event, with leaders highlighting its potential for improved predictive analysis and cost savings. Avinash Kapoor, MD of Helvoet Rubber & Plastics Technologies, said, “Utilizing real-time data analytics offers improved predictive analysis and cost savings.” He further emphasized the practical applications and tangible benefits of harnessing data-driven insights.

According to Gartner, 87% of senior business leaders say digitalisation is a company priority, yet only 40% of organizations have brought digital initiatives to scale. The need to steer comprehensive business transformation by formulating forward-looking financial strategies, optimizing costs, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering innovation is paramount. NTT DATA and AWS have emerged as pioneers in future-proofing organizations and transforming them. Sachin Ranjane from NTT DATA said, “System integration is part of the business as we can transform the entire lifecycle process of the IT infrastructure, understand the whole landscape, consult on what is needed and then help you the way you want. Also, we can help you to migrate and deploy business transformation. Once we have done so, we can optimize the operations and then advise on the whole lifecycle of the organization. We can be a partner of your entire organization. Our product can be deployed for every domain of business and seamlessly integrated.”

A key takeaway from the forum was, growth & profitability are cornerstones of any successful business that takes centre stage in the digital transformation narrative. Laxmi Prasad B, Head IT from Ador Welding, succinctly put it, “Leveraging the latest technology accelerates growth and profitability.”

The forum provided an insightful perspective on the evolving responsibilities of CXOs in the face of changing market dynamics. Participating leaders also offered valuable insights and successful strategies, ensuring the event’s remarkable success.
