In highly competitive global markets, organizations compete with each-other on a deeper strategic factor – their ‘capability’ to pursue cutting-edge research, innovation and new product development. This deeper factor called ‘strategic innovation capability’ can be a source of ‘competitive advantage’. Especially during crisis, such capabilities can help organizations to sustain their existing competitive advantage and build new ones. We intend to analyse these ‘strategic innovation capabilities’ and brainstorm about how they can be built by researchers, innovators, managers and leaders, collectively.

  • Leveraging Strategic Innovation Capabilities to build future competitive advantages.
  • Critically appreciate the state-of-the art literature on Strategic Innovation Management.

  • Actionable Insights into solving complex problems in managing cross-functional innovation.
  • Implementable strategies to transform innovation capabilities to innovation performance.
  • Networking sessions with innovation managers from different sectors/organizations.

  • ‘Living Labs’ approach to solve real-life challenges in the field.
  • Power-packed ‘Brainstorming sessions’ for novel idea-generation/analysis.
