CONTEXT

In the globalized economy product life cycles have shortened. Customers are looking for variety in small lot deliveries at ever shortening lead times. Faster means of communication and internet have added to the complexities of business environment. It has become necessary as well as possible to strive for exploiting the full potential of the opportunities that a company’s supply chain offers.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

The program is intended to strengthen the participants’ abilities of working in a cross functional environment in a highly competitive and complex organisational set up.

The participants will get an opportunity to revisit and refresh SCM fundamentals, frameworks and tools so as to enhance their competence for using these in their respective organisations. This will also be a unique opportunity for interaction with professionals and academicians of repute and fellow participants from other organisations.

Inputs sessions by industry experts and experienced faculty designed to encourage active participation, case based discussion, Group Work. Hands on participation in Harvard Business School’s Online Web based simulation, “Root Beer Game” will be a part of the program.

Dr. Mrinalini Shah

Dr. Mrinalini Shah is professor & chairperson PGDM at IMT Ghaziabad. Dr. Shah was awarded European Commission Postdoctoral fellowship and did her research at Warsaw University, Poland. Dr. Shah did advance management program at Harvard Business School and attended a summer school at St. Gallen university, Switzerland. She is APICS Certied Supply Chain (CSCP) fellow and Stanford venture & NEN certied Entrepreneurship educator. Dr. Shah has earned various state, national & International scholarships for merit.

Dr. Shah has invested more than two decades in teaching and training in the eld of Supply Chain Management, Management Science and Business analytics. She has taught in national and international Institute of repute including Warsaw University Poland, AUEB Athens Greece, ORT University Montevideo Uruguay, IMT Dubai and NMIMS Mumbai. She was nominated as ICCR Chair Professor by Republic of India to Republic of Greece and was associated with Athens University of Economics & Business. She has also exposed to online teaching both in synchronous and asynchronous ones.

She has conducted many training programs for executives of Defense Service, Indian postal service, NTPC, NHPC, ONGC, HCCBPL, Recitt Benkiser, RBL etc. and many open MDPs. Dr. Shah has done consultancy with Bronisze market , Warsaw Poland, Tatsom sports , Instud , Admito.in etc both for big names and startup domain. Dr Shah has more than 25 research papers published in national & International Journals of repute, case study and Edited books publication to her credit. She has presented papers in international conferences and chaired sessions in India, Australia, Indonesia, Poland, USA etc. Dr. Shah successfully organized Supply Chain conclave in 2017 at IMT Ghaziabad.
