How can logistics CEOs get 10Xsales growth?

Is your logistics revenue growth sluggish? Economy slowdown, Corona virus, everyday increasing competition is bothering you.

As a Logistics CEOs, you should ask “What is the USP (unique selling proposition)of mylogistics services?”. India has hundreds of thousands of logistics companies and everyday new start-ups are joining the band to spice upthe competition. If you are not having a sharp USP then be ready to be juiced up for price and outclassed by the competition.

You need to honethe unique features of your value proposition whichdifferentiates your logistics services from the competition. Your logistics services USP shouldbe able to connect with the everchanging tangible and emotional needs of the customers.

Alden Consulting works with the Logistics companies forsharpeningthe USP,creating value in theprocess ofLogistics sales, customer service, operations, procurement &HR. We enable an internal & external stakeholders’ alignment with USP, cost reduction, optimisation of routes, process reengineering, digital transformation….

Further, what is the differentiator in the services you have or are developing? Not run of the mill “lowest price”. You have a fleet of 500 nos. or even 5000 trucks. It is only a matter of time that a small-time logistics provider will stand outside customer ware house to pick goods 24X7 &do a price bloodshed. Even a transport broker can beat you on a lane price consistently.

What are the unique features in your services that will make you stand out? The features which competition can’t copy. How are you using thedisruptive technologies to make a differentiated logistics service or product? Yes, price is important but the value (USP) you are delivering in the price will govern your future.Even on time delivery can be a USP but you need to identify unique features around that to attract new customers.

What is your value proposition? Is your website & app communicating the value proposition or is it all over the place? A fundamental mistake which most of the logistics companies do. It’s a Digital world? What % of your sales is Digital sales? Have you run a Digital Analysis on the competition?

You say that you are best in class. Are you able to showcase that you are best in class to the potential customers?
